WEDU PBS At-Home Learning is proud to help educators, students and families with a special broadcast schedule each weekday that includes engaging programming for grades PK-12 along with companion lessons based on Florida education standards.
WEDU PBS At-Home Learning highlights specific lessons, articles and other information to support PK-12 home learners and educators. These FREE, user-friendly, e-learning resources from PBS LearningMedia align to Florida educational standards for K-12 and VPK (Voluntary Pre -Kindergarten) instruction.

PBS LearningMedia™ is a free digital education service from PBS, is your destination for direct access to thousands of classroom-ready, curriculum-targeted digital resources from quality PBS programming and hundreds of educational partners like NASA, the Smithsonian and the National Archives. Designed to improve teacher effectiveness and student achievement, the service includes videos and interactives, as well as audio, documents, and in-depth lesson plans. Users can browse by standards, grade level, subject area, and special collections.
PBS LearningMedia™ for students allows students of any age to create their own learning experiences by engaging directly with content. Students can search for, save and share their favorite resources, as well as download for offline viewing.

Rapid Response: Race and Justice | Student Reporting Labs
Student Reporting Labs wants to hear from teens at this moment. You can record yourself with your phones and/or interview others remotely. Instructions for recording remote interviews and submitting videos can be found in Student Reporting Labs on PBS LearningMedia. Launch
Developed in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, StoryCorps Connect is a first-of-its kind platform that enables you to record a StoryCorps interview with a loved one remotely using video conference technology. The audio and a still photo from each interview goes into our archive at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress and becomes a part of American history. Launch
WEDU is pleased to announce a new grant award from The Koski Family Foundation. This generous support will help to provide training on free PBS resources for educators and families in Sarasota County.
WEDU PBS has received a generous grant from the Margaret and Bob Christopher Fund, Wells Fargo Fund, Weichel Family Fund and MCF Youth and Philanthropy Fund within the Manatee Community Foundation. The grant will provide free training opportunities for educators in Manatee County focused on PBS educational resources for PreK-13+ learning environments.
The George W. Jenkins Fund within the GiveWell Community Foundation has once again honored WEDU PBS with a grant award that will provide free training on the use of PBS educational resources for PreK-13+ educators and families within Polk County. WEDU is very grateful for the continued support the Foundation has shown for our outreach efforts.
